Bahamas
NAS-Nassau & Paradise Island, GGT-Exuma Nassau is the capital. Comprised of 720 islands & cays. Americanized, gambling is legal on the island. Bahamians can be a bit standoffish. The Bahamas offers great snorkeling & scuba diving, beautiful calm turquoise waters. Quick & easy flights into NAS, but is an overpriced destination in terms of value for money.
Overall, the Bahamas is overpriced, & seasonal. Too chilly Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March & even into April. Waters are cool, & pools aren’t heated at most resorts (too costly). May-July temps are good but rainy season sets in & June 1 through Nov 30 – Bahamian Islands are sitting ducks for major storms & hurricanes.
