Family Resorts:

  • Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa (Upper Moderate):  Bermuda’s best bang-for-your-buck hotel. The resort has a rocky private beach, small rooms, but lovely grounds and magical grottos (which are fun for kids and teens to explore) give this 21-acre resort a special mystique of its own. airport-side location amenities -- including a small spa, tennis courts, dive center with water sport rentals and boat excursions, three restaurants, and two bars (including one poolside) -- makes for one of the island's best deals for families. The all-inclusive option can also add value for families with big eaters. 2 miles from airport
  • Pompano Beach Club (Moderate): Situated overlooking Bermuda's southwest coast, the 75 room family-owned and operated. Out-dated rooms. Shallow waterfront. The island's top public golf The Robert Trent Jones designed Port Royal Golf Course is right next door.
  • Rosewood Bermuda (Luxury):  The Rosewood Tucker’s Point is easily one of Bermuda’s top luxury resorts. Almost every amenity imaginable is available at the Rosewood, and the hotel earns high marks for its beautiful pools, a decadent spa, four acclaimed restaurants, a stunning private beach, and a challenging golf course. Decor throughout is reminiscent of a proper English Manor, and rooms feature traditional decor that is equally comfortable and elegant. Guests include honeymooners and anniversary celebrants, as well as families with kids and business travelers. 2 miles from airport.
  • Fairmont Southampton (Luxury):  Built in the 1970s, the iconic “Big Pink Lady on the Hill” is easily the most recognizable hotel in Bermuda — and following a 21st-century renovation, the Fairmont Southampton is still one of the island’s nicest properties. Though massive, the 593-room resort has Bermudian charm to spare and its laundry list of amenities attracts all kinds of travelers. Families come for the beautiful pool and private beach club, couples enjoy the Willow Stream Spa and multitude of romantic dining options, and outdoor enthusiasts are attracted to the 18-hole par 3 golf course and six beachfront tennis courts. Most rooms have been renovated, and feature modern decor and tons of nice features. However, some rooms are still stuck in the '70s. The Fairmont is not a beachfront property, so travelers looking to be directly on the sand should compare rates at Elbow Beach, Bermuda a similar, though smaller, property with fewer amenities. 8 miles from the airport
  • The Reefs Travelers (Luxury): looking for an amenity-rich luxury resort that still feels like an intimate boutique will find everything on their wish list at The Reefs. An upscale property with 65 spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, The Reefs feels modern, but is still replete with Bermudian charm. Top-notch amenities include an infinity-edge pool with incredible ocean vistas, three on-site restaurants, a gorgeous spa, and a quiet beachfront — but perks like free afternoon tea service, free kayaks and snorkel gear, and free Rum Swizzles upon arrival are thoughtful touches that contribute to a more personalized, intimate guest experience. While the hotel’s clifftop location offers stunning views, the hilly property requires a lot of stair climbing, and is often windier than its neighbors. 12 miles from airport
  • Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort and Spa (Luxury):  The breezy, laid-back Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa is one of Bermuda's only properties built within the last decade, and modern rooms, gourmet dining, a serene spa, and a spectacular infinity-edge pool prove it has raised the luxury bar for Bermuda's more seasoned resorts. Even better, a central location puts nearly every major attraction less than a 20-minute drive away -- something that almost makes up for a lack of beachfront. 8 miles from airport
  • Elbow Beach (Luxury):  A tranquil spa, three restaurants, a beautiful pool, a half mile of private beachfront, and recently renovated rooms are among the perks at this elegant 50-acre resort. This hilltop property is one of Bermuda's best options, outdoing similarly priced resorts like The Reefs and Pompano Beach Club.
  • Hamilton Princess & Beach Club (Luxury):  The older of the two Fairmont properties in Bermuda, this 410-room hotel is located in the city center and features a lovely harbor view, two restaurants, and two pools. On its own, the property holds up as a great business hotel; leisure travelers, however, can find less expensive options with beachfront locations and more amenities.
