Curacao
CAP-Willemstad is capital. Located in the Southern Caribbean. Rich in multicultural heritage. Pristine beaches, secluded romantic coves, nightlife, casinos, international cuisine & fantastic duty-free shopping. Dive & snorkel among rare corals and marine life in water as clear as the air. Tour the historic countryside mansions. The annual average temperature is 82°F. Curacao lies outside the hurricane belt and has virtually no rainy days. Terrain is mostly flat with a few hills here & there. Safe & clean, gambling legal, very tiny island located 35-40 miles away from Aruba & Venezuela. Dutch influence in ambiance & architecture. Beautiful sea aquarium, flamingo farm & quaint little shops & boutiques. Kinda hard to get to. Santa Barbara Resort (formerly Hyatt) is best resort on the island but even it can be hit or miss. The Renaissance Marriott is also “pretty good” (4 star) & offers all inclusive. We hardly ever sell Curacao again due to airlift, & the fact that it’s not the best value for money, as well as no adult only or truly upscale resorts. Island tour, Dune Buggies, snorkeling, gambling.

Curacao Restaurants
- Blues Bar & Restaurant - Jutting out onto a pier over the ocean at the Avila Beach Hotel, this legendary perch is famous for their live jazz and blues nights. The vibe is always convivial, and it's a popular place for locals to gather, especially on Thursday at happy hour.
- Gouverneur de Rouville Restaurant & Café - Dine on the veranda of a restored 19th-century Dutch mansion overlooking the Santa Anna Bay and the resplendent Punda skyline.
- Kome - Ask any local foodie where to get creative fusion fare with a Curaçao twist, and Kome will be the first spot they mention. It’s not super fancy, in fact it’s no-nonsense rustic with basic wooden tables and chairs, but it’s the food that attracts.
- Jaanchies Restaurant - Over the years this has become something of a road marker on Curaçao's beaten tourist path, with prices to match. You'll be greeted by the owner, Jaanchi himself, a self-described "walking, talking menu," who will recite your choices of authentic local dishes for lunch.
