The on-site wedding team is an incredible resource, so share your vision clearly and openly with them. Since Costa Mujeres enjoys a tropical climate, it’s smart to have a backup plan for your ceremony in case of rain.

Secrets Playa Blanca offers thoughtfully designed wedding packages, but you can always customize your celebration to make it uniquely yours. Be sure to enjoy the resort’s world-class amenities—like the luxurious spa, elegant dining, and daily activities—to create an unforgettable experience for both you and your guests.

IS THE BEACH SWIMMABLE?

WHAT IS THE FEE FOR A DAY PASS?

Because this is a private, all-inclusive resort, at least 80% of your wedding guests must be staying on-site. Any guests who are not staying at the resort but want to attend the wedding or related events will need to purchase a day pass.

These passes give them full access to the resort (food, drinks, and amenities) during their visit and are paid directly to the resort.

DAY PASS OPTIONS:

Morning Pass (9am – 5pm): $130 USD
Afternoon Pass (5pm – 12am): $150 USD
Full Day Pass (12pm – 1am): $180 USD
Wedding Event Pass (5 hours, starting 30 minutes before the ceremony): $100 USD

Guests will need to bring a passport when arriving, and they’ll check in at the front desk to receive their pass. The resort holds passports until they depart.

The couple provides the resort with the names of any outside guests and who will be responsible for payment, but the actual payment is handled on-site.

ARE THERE ANY OUTSIDE VENDOR FEES?

Yes — the resort has specific rules about outside vendors in order to protect the guest experience and maintain quality standards.

Some vendors are not allowed at all, including:

Outside florists or décor companies
Outside DJs or AV teams

These services must be booked through the resort.

However, the resort does allow a few outside professionals with a vendor fee:

OUTSIDE VENDOR FEES:

$1,000 USD + tax for one photographer or videographer (or up to two of the same type)
