Dominican Republic

PUJ is airport code for Punta Cana, LRM for La Romana, SDQ for Santo Domingo, POP for Puerto Plata.

  • Spanish is primary language.
  • Still some language barrier issues, but an excellent bang for buck & relatively easy to fly into PUJ.
  • Great beaches lined with loads of palm trees. Turquoise waters & soft white powder sand.
  • We seldom recommend or sell Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo.
  • Gambling is legal in the DR.
  • Remind guests not to drink the water.

Activities:
The country is well known for pristine beaches, beautiful landscapes, exquisite coffee, fresh seafood, friendly people, and more. The capital city of Santo Domingo is full of culture with great importance placed on the performing arts. The beach destinations are mostly catered towards tourists, however, so be sure to step off of the beaten path for a taste of authentic Dominican culture.
