Wedding FAQs
IS THE BEACH SWIMMABLE?Yes – the beach at Secrets Playa Mujeres is swimmable, with generally calm conditions compared to other parts of the Cancun area. Seasonal weather and seaweed can still affect the water, so guests should always check with the resort for current conditions.
WHAT IS THE FEE FOR A DAY PASS?The day pass fee is $130 USD per person, which includes access starting one hour before the wedding ceremony and remains valid until the end of the event.
If guests wish to arrive earlier, the fee is $260 USD per person.
A valid ID is mandatory and must be presented upon entry; access will not be granted without identification.
ARE THERE ANY OUTSIDE VENDOR FEES?Yes. The outside vendor fee is $1,000 USD + tax, which includes access for up to two people. Each additional person is $150 USD + tax.
Please note that external A&V companies are not permitted, as Encore is the exclusive in-house audiovisual supplier.
WHAT ARE THE CURFEW TIMES FOR THE WEDDING VENUES?Outdoor events generally follow local noise regulations, ending around 10:30-11:00 PM.
Indoor spaces may allow later celebrations depending on the venue. Confirm exact timing with your on-site coordinator.
Secrets Playa Mujeres typically hosts 1-2 weddings per day, depending on season and venue availability.
