Our Wedding Registry

WHAT IS THERE TO DO ON NON-WEDDING DAYS?

• There is plenty to do at Secrets Playa Blanca! During the day, there are multiple pools, hot tubs, a swim-up bar, and beach access. Be sure to check out the gorgeous Barracuda Beach Bar and swing while you sip a frozen cocktail and watch the waves
• They also have snorkeling, kayaking, group water fitness classes, and a pickleball court
• At night, there are shows at the entertainment theater, karaoke and life DJ at Desires music lounge, and relaxing entertainment at the Rendezvous Bar

WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE MEAN?

• At Secrets Playa Blanca, all-inclusive is called Unlimited-Luxury®, and it includes:
  • Unlimited gourmet dining (no reservations required)
  • Unlimited international and domestic top-shelf spirits, cocktails, juices, soft drinks
  • 24hr room service and daily refreshed mini-bar
  • Pool and beach waiter service

ARE DIETARY NEEDS ACCOMODATED?

• Yes— the staff at the resort are helpful and accommodating with dietary restrictions
• If you have more complex or severe restrictions (e.g., strict vegan, celiac disease) it’s a good idea to notify the resort before arrival and speak with the restaurant staff or chef when you get there so they can guide you

WHAT CURRENCY IS USED, AND DO I NEED CASH?

• Mexico’s official currency is the Mexican Peso, but at Secrets Playa Blanca, U.S. Dollars are widely accepted and easiest for most guests to use. Credit cards are also accepted throughout the resort
• Tipping is not required, but it is a kind courtesy and is greatly appreciated by the amazing staff for exceptional service (such as bartenders, servers, bell staff, and housekeeping)

IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK?

• Tap water in Mexico (including the tourist areas around Cancun/Costa Mujeres) is generally not recommended to drink directly from the tap
• At Secrets Playa Blanca, you’ll be served bottled or purified water with meals and at the bar — this is safe to drink

Did you find a lower rate somewhere else?

It's super important that you make your booking with the group as the cost of our wedding events is directly related to how many guests book within the group.  Please submit your reservation as normal, and in the special requests / notes field, please let us know where you found a better rate.  We may require a e-mailed screen shot of the offer, and we will send this information to the resort to request a price match for you.  Your card wont be charge anything until we can confirm the lower rate offer and we will send you a complete reservation itinerary to review and approve with your final pricing on it.

Please note that transfer costs and travel insurance costs can not be price matched.  Rate must be a publically available US rate to be considered by the resort for a price match.

Bookings made outside the group may incur additional fees to attend the wedding events.
