The BAI Retreat 2026 at Secrets Mirabel gave our team valuable insight into the resort experience, event spaces, dining options, group flow, and overall atmosphere.

DAY 1: ARRIVALS, WELCOME COCKTAIL & GROUP DINNER
The retreat began on June 1, 2026, as the Be All Inclusive team arrived and checked in at Secrets Mirabel. After settling into the resort, everyone came together for a welcome cocktail at Preferred Sky Bar.
This first evening set the tone for the entire retreat: connection, celebration, and excitement for the days ahead. The team then gathered for a group dinner at Olio Terrace, giving everyone time to reconnect, relax, and enjoy the beginning of the BAI Retreat 2026 experience.
DAY 2: SITE INSPECTION, TEAM TRAINING & THEMED DINNER
Day 2 of BAI Retreat 2026 at Secrets Mirabel focused on learning, resort exploration, and team engagement. After breakfast, the team participated in a Mirabel site inspection, starting from the main lobby.
Site inspections are such an important part of what we do as destination wedding travel agents. They allow us to see ceremony locations, reception spaces, resort layouts, restaurants, room categories, and guest-friendly amenities in person. This firsthand knowledge makes a huge difference when we are helping couples compare resorts for their destination wedding.
Later that morning, the team gathered for BAI Jeopardy and Kahoot at Desires, adding a fun and interactive training element to the retreat. After lunch and afternoon leisure time, everyone came back together for a cocktail hour and themed dinner in the Nizuc Ballroom.
It was the perfect example of what makes a team retreat valuable: learning together, laughing together, and experiencing the kind of event flow our wedding groups may enjoy during their own destination wedding celebrations.
DAY 3: MEET & GREET, BUBBLES & BRUNCH & WEDDING WARS
Day 3 continued the focus on connection and destination wedding education. After breakfast, the team attended an HIC Meet & Greet at Blue Water Terrace, followed by Bubbles & Brunch at Blue Water Grill.
One of the highlights of the day was Wedding Wars in the Secret Garden. This event brought a fun, wedding-focused element to the retreat while giving the team another opportunity to collaborate and think creatively.
After lunch and afternoon leisure time, the day wrapped up with a group dinner at El Patio. These shared meals were an important part of the retreat, giving the team time to connect outside of work, celebrate the BAI community, and enjoy the resort experience together.
DAY 4: BREAKFAST & DEPARTURES
The final day of BAI Retreat 2026 at Secrets Mirabel included breakfast on your own followed by departures and safe travels home. While the retreat may have come to an end, the experience, knowledge, and memories from the trip will continue to help our team better serve destination wedding couples.
