Special requests should be noted on the reservation in the appropriate field AND communicated to the resort approximately 7 days prior to the guests' arrival.  It is recommended to note these on the invoice and indicate that it's a "request not a guarantee."  Rarely can special requests be guaranteed in advance.

Examples of special requests:
Celebrations-Birthday, Anniversary, Honeymoon, Retirement
Room Location:  Central location, low floor, high floor
Room View:  Unobstructed View, Ocean View
Room Type:  Connecting room (door in between that opens), adjoining room (room next door with no connecting door)
